Prishtinë, Kosovë, Oct 7 - According to Mr. Arsim Bajrami, who is on the drafting team of the Constitution, the New Constitution of Kosovo will be completed by March of next year. This constitution will define Kosovo as a Parliamentary Republic that will be defended by Kosovo's Army. Kosovo's constitution is one of the many conditions for acceptance of Kosovo as a full member of the international community of countries. |

PRISTINA, Kosovo, Oct 5 (Reuters) - Britain and the United States said on Thursday they remain committed to seeking a decision this year on whether or not Kosovo becomes independent from Serbia as its ethnic Albanian majority demands. Moving to scotch talk of a possible delay, which might carry the risk of triggering violence by extremists, American and British officials in the capital, Pristina, said there had been no change in their commitment to a solution before 2007. |

August 29, 2006 - Belgrade, Serbia - Two Israeli citizens were severely beaten by a group of skinheads in a Belgrade park in what Jewish leaders here described Tuesday as an anti-Semitic attack. The two -- Yariv Avram, 27, and Bojana Petkovic, 23 -- were attacked late Sunday during a rock music festival in a downtown park by several men wearing Nazi symbols, police said. |
