Prishtinë, 27 September 2007 - Apart from the declaration to support Ahtisaari’s package, Kosovo Assembly has gone a step further in its implementation.

In the meeting on Thursday, Kosovo legislators have approved, with the majority of the votes, three first draft laws of Ahtisaari’s package, which directly define the statehood of Kosovo: the draft law for the use of state symbols, the draft law for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and also the draft law for status, immunity and privileges of diplomatic missions, consulate and the presence of the international troops in Kosovo.

The draft law on symbols in the meeting was presented by the Minister of Public Services, Melihate Termkolli. Deputy Prime Minister Lutfi Haziri presented the draft law on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
