Belgrade, 27 February 2006 - The UN Special Envoy Martti Ahtisaari has arrived in Belgrade yesterday where he is to meet with senior state officials of Serbia & Montenegro and discuss with them the overall progress in the negotiations process on Kosovo status.  Ahtisaari has scheduled meetings with Serbian President Boris Tadic, Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica, President of SaM Svetozar Marovic and SaM Foreign Minister Vuk Draskovic.

Ahtisaari would then visit Pristina where he is supposed to meet UNMIK Chief Søren Jessen-Petersen, President of Kosovo Fatmir Sejdiu and representatives from civil society.
