Prishtinë, 12 october 2006 - Kosovo Daily "Koha Ditore" reports that UNMIK administration in Kosovo is against organizing of the referendum on Serbian constitution in Kosovo territory. However, UNMIK spokesperson Neeraj Singh said in a press conference that they will not impede the voting on this referendum.

UNMIK and KFOR officials have said that they will be engaged in ensuring that this process does not destabilize Kosovo, says the paper.

KTV (Kohavision TV) on the other hand report that UNMIK allows Serbian Constitution referendum in Kosovo by providing security. The report said: Although UNMIK will not support organization of the referendum; it will not prevent it either. Moreover, it will provide security during the whole time when the referendum will take place.
