Istog, 12 October 2006 - Keys to newly built houses for Serbs were distributed today in the village of Kosh in the Istog municipality in Kosovo. Twenty five of the homes were built for Serb minority, two for Ashkali minority and one for an Albanian family. Deputy PM Lutfi Haziri and UNMIK deputy chief were present as well.
The cost of this project was about 1 million euros. The funds were given by the Kosovo Government and the European Agency for Reconstruction. Implementation of the project was supervised by the Danish Refugee Council. Similar projects are near completion in Klinë, Ferizaj, Mitrovica and other municipalities in Kosovo. |
