Prishtine, 10 March 2007 - Prishtina Daily “Koha Ditore” claims that Kosovo Prime Minister Agim Çeku will travel on Sunday for an official visit to Beijing upon receiving invitation from the Chinese Foreign Ministry.
The sources that the paper claims are close to the Kosovo government, said the agenda of the visit is not yet public. China, a permanent member of the UN Security council, has been mentioned by Serbia's foreign minister Vuk Draskovic as a country that would veto any proposal that mentions Kosovo independence. However, Chinese officials have not confirmed this information diseminated by Draskovic. |
